Alms and Altars

Jesus Christ of Nazareth was consistent in trusting Me from heaven. Christ Jesus knew His citizenship was with Me where I Am seated in heaven.

Even I, beloved have resolved to abide by the law of appointed times.

My son Jesus Christ of Nazareth was tempted by my ancient enemy. My ancient enemy left Jesus Christ after He was unable to be tempted by him. My ancient enemy, Hasatan, left Him free to move about the earth I created for three years. I allowed the son of man, Jesus Christ to be given into the hands of man.

Consistent prayer in the life of a Christ follower creates a type and picture of alms and altars before Me. Beloved, at this very moment, if I were, by permission, to look into your heart, would I find an altar to another god with alms upon it?

I told My son Jesus Christ it was time to complete His assignment after I spoke with my ancient enemy about the 3 year time coming to an end. I accepted the blood of goats, rams, bulls and lambs from the hands of My chosen people Israel. I was however, willing to wait for the appointed time to receive the more excellent sacrifice in the blood of the Lamb Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Only pure hearts can see Me beloved. Only pure hearts can see and understand My earthly handiwork and the continued movement of My Holy Spirit in the earth. My ways are not without reason beloved. Let’s ponder the matter of John The Baptist. My son Jesus Christ and John the Baptist were cousins, family, also known as close and familiar. John was chosen before I knit him in his mother’s womb to prepare the way for My son Jesus Christ whom I sent to the lost children of Israel.

John The Baptist was sent before Christ Jesus to prepare the way in the hearts of men by preaching the message of repentence and baptizing those who confessed their sins. My son Jesus Christ allowed Himself to be baptized by his cousin John.

John The Baptist was called to prepare the way for My son Jesus Christ proclaiming the kingdom of heaven was at hand. Jesus Christ proclaimed the same thing upon His entrance into Galilee at the beginning of His three year earthly ministry. John The Baptist was not called to confront or correct King Herod in regard to his personal life.

I allowed John The Baptist to be arrested and put in jail. My Son Jesus allowed his cousin to stay in jail. It was John’s stint in jail that revealed the overly familiar spirit within his heart toward his cousin Jesus Christ of Nazareth. John knew who Jesus was but did not know the extent or more specifically, the details of what that looked like or how it would play out.

Do you find it strange beloved, that as close and important as John was to his cousin Jesus, I chose not to involve Him in the planning and details of Jesus’ ministry beyond John’s portion in it? John made a decision in is head about going further than I instructed Him to go, thus He lost his head in the matter. My son Jesus Christ of Nazareth stayed in His lane and relegated Himself to complete the assignment I gave Him.

Obedience is a figurative alm before Me beloved. The altar upon which that obedience is laid is the place where you and I meet each day at the opening of your bible. To open your bible in a laborious way is futile because I Am no hard task master. The earth groans in the labor pains of birthing the sons of God who will defend My honor heralding the truth that I Am no hard taskmaster as some have led others to believe. Creation itself longs for the day it will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.

Again, to open your bible in a laborious way is futile because I Am no hard taskmaster. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman, draw near to Me and I’ll draw near to you. What need do I have to make you afraid of Me beloved? What have I done to You for you to approach our relationship with fear? I asked similar questions of My chosen people Israel through the prophet Malachi. Even the barley has an appointed time and place.

The law of natural selection is an insult to Me, the One who delights in using the base things of the world to confound the wise and the things that are nought to bring to nothing the things that are. Jesus Christ of Nazareth thanked Me for choosing to reveal Him to babes and not to the wise and prudent men of the age.

May I ask You a question beloved? I ask permission to ask You a question to demonstrate mutual honor and respect and My sheer delight in spending time with you. Who gives the leopard her spots? Who clothes the flowers in your garden with glory and splendor? Who chose to make the ostrich not so bright? Who allowed the Assyrian to believe he was all powerful until the appointed time? Last question, who determines the amount of melanin in a man’s skin? How ignorant is the man who loathes his brother for the melanin in his skin?

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The apostle Paul thanked Me for delivering him from the body of death that housed the sin nature within Him through His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Back to alms and altars. I gave My son Jesus Christ of Nazareth as a sacrifice to ransom and reconcile all of mankind back into fellowship and family with Me. Jesus Christ then instructed His disciples to carry this message to all the earth.

The opportunity to return to Me, be in communion with My Spirit and fellowship with My family has been afforded to all. There are many ways to other gods but there is only One way to Me, the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Your money is no good with Me, it is for your enjoyment and pleasure, and if your heart is Mine, you will share it in measure with the poor.

Am I wrong to expect those who accept My invitation to operate differently, in heart posture, word, action and deed from a world that has no place in My new heaven and new earth? I Am not a man that I should lie beloved, nor the son of man that I should repent, meaning I have no father to be afraid of or beholden to his fallen traditions.

I Am no respector of persons beloved. How can I be creator of all tongues, tribes and nations and despise My creation? Ah, so you want to bring up “Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated”. Then let Me bring up King David who said “The Lord tests the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates”. Esau dishonored My promise to his grandfather Abraham by doing violence to its very existence in marrying foreign wives and placing his faith in the value of his eldership as opposed to fearing Me. Fearing Me also means honoring Me enough to involve Me in matters of importance in ones life. Again, I Am no hard taskmaster.

I love you so much beloved and delight in our time together. Can you imagine the beauty and depth of conversation we’ll have in all eternity? My servant penning this encouraging word to you asked Me for a library in eternity. I’ve already shown it to her because its already hers.

Moving right along. My ancient enemy spends a lot of time trying to discredit Me and My intention toward mankind. Jesus Christ of Nazareth called the adversary the Father of Lies. Jude encouraged the early church to build themselves up in their most holy faith. I have been known to give those who have a form of godliness but deny its power to first change them, then others, over to strong delusion. Knowledge and extreme acquistion of it can become an idol. I’ve been known to give men fully over to their idols.

Christ Jesus becomes wisdom, knowledge, righteousness and sanctification to those who receive Him. In a figurative sense, I prefer burnt offerings because they involve picking up your cross and bearing the weight of challenging your own flesh, your own will and your own attitude to line up with My will, My word and My good intention toward you. The outer court life is easy beloved, the inner court sanctuary life, not so much. Whosoever will, let him come for I give grace to the humble, but resist the proud.

Yes, it is difficult to understand My language sometimes, this is why Jesus Christ told His disciples to wait for the Comforter He was sending to help them live their lives before Me and carry out the commission to tell others about Him in relation to Me.

The Holy Spirit will help you add virtue to your faith, knowledge to virtue, self control to knowledge, perserverance to self control, godliness to perserverance, brotherly kindness to godliness and love to brotherly kindness that you may not be lacking in the knowledge of My son Jesus Christ. Remember beloved, the Holy Spirit is like a dove and can be grieved to the point that you can’t discern His presence anymore; much like a startled dove. Worshipping Me in spirit and truth will help you discern how and when you’ve grieved Him.

There is a certain amount of glory attributed to an eagle. However, in these last days the glory of the geese is to be exalted in a figurative way because they fly just as high and sometimes higher and their unity is impeccable. Geese support each other in forward movement. The last days church will have to do the same granting rest to the weary and encouraging the strong to overcome the headwinds of anti-christ opposition.

Christ is uncontained love. Christ is innumerable strength. Beloved, you were not redeemed to walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit. Indeed you have been ransomed from the way of the first Adam into the life and nature of Jesus Christ, the second Adam.
