The Benchmark

Love is My law beloved and Christ Jesus of Nazareth is the benchmark of that love. My son Jesus Christ came first bearing love, He will bear the sword at the second coming. According to John’s Revelation, there are some born into the earth whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I told Jeremiah that I knew him before I knit him in his mother’s womb and called him a prophet to the nations. I ordained Paul an apostle from birth. John the Baptist was born with purpose apart from his own will.

In Psalm 119, King David said of Me, “all are Your servants”. Jeremiah called Me the God of all flesh. I told Ezekiel “all souls are Mine”. Noah called Me “the Father of spirits”. The disciple whom Jesus loved said My son Jesus Christ was in the beginning with Me. Is anything too hard for Me? Are My arms to short to reach you in the depths of darkness? Are My ears deaf that I cannot hear your cry?

Jesus Christ reminded Me that I have given Him authority over all flesh to give eternal life to as many as I have given Him. Your sins are many but My mercy is more. Course corrections are normal in the life of a Christ follower. Shame lies against the truth of My unconditional love for you. Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times. I formed the eye, shall I not see? I formed the ear, shall I not hear?

My spirit is not hindered by physical force but by unbelief in the heart of the believer. Why would I waste time writing your book of all I intend for you to accomplish upon the earth if I didn’t mean for you to accomplish it?

The Holy Spirit is your helper. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman and waits to be invited into your situation. Cry out to Holy Spirit to help you and He will answer and lead you in ways you never knew He could. Your book in heaven is not the same as your legacy on earth. Your legacy is for your glory and honor before men. The book I wrote about you before I knit you in your mothers’ womb is to My glory and honor before men. In all honesty beloved, this doesn’t happen automatically, so don’t be discouraged.

You cannot accomplish My will and purpose for your life in the earth without being transformed by renewing your mind with what My word says about you and how I feel about you. Christ Jesus of Nazareth said if you love Me, keep My commandments. Jesus Christ of Nazareth commanded His followers to love the Lord their God with all their hearts, all their souls and all their minds and strength; then love their neighbors as themselves.

Appointed times are important beloved, to move ahead of Me in any matter is futile. No is not always no beloved, sometimes no is wait and wait is wait to see if I change the path and plan to your expected end. Joshua and Caleb would have a lot to say about waiting because My answer was “no” when they desired to go forward without the camp. Joshua and Caleb walked around the desert 40 years in full faith of My ability in them and presence with them to posess the promised land. Joshua and Caleb experienced My grace, longsuffering and deep love for those who reject Me, My ways and My will.

My word will never change, My methods may change often. The apostle Paul spoke of becoming all things to all men for the sake of the gospel message he carried and for the sake of the kingdom.

Good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Outer court, inner court and holy place. Life in Christ Jesus of Nazareth is found in the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ of Nazareth came that you might have life and life more abundantly.

In all your getting, get understanding. Understanding. What is under what your standing on? Abraham waited for the city whose builder and maker is God. Ponder that beloved. Get understanding of Me, My nature, My character and My intention toward you. Unclean spirits ride the airways paved by the prince of the power of the air to project error and deception with the goal of distracting your attention away from the Holy Spirit. Minds not covered in the helmet of salvation are susceptible to the spirit that now works in the sons of disobedience.

My son Jesus Christ has perfected you before Me beloved. The holiness of Christs’ lifeblood is sanctifiying you daily until the day He returns. My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts are higher than your thoughts.

Chastening in the kingdom of God is also training. King David spoke of loving My testimonies and delighting himself in keeping My testimonies in Psalm 119. Testimonies come from tests. I test the hearts of those I love. I chasten those I love. A son without chastening is not a son. I don’t use criminal behavior or physical abuse to test My children.

Beloved, once the Holy Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you are a son of the living God through Jesus Christ of Nazareth, your journey towards godliness begins. Godliness is attained by allowing the words of Jesus Christ to abide in your heart as a governor of your life. Godliness is a character trait that develops over time as you allow yourself to abide in Christ.

Friendships with like minded people who value the character traits of Christ turn the journey towards godliness into an adventure. It is not your outward works that will stand before Me in the day that judges all men, but your inward work. Your inward work with My Holy Spirit will cause you to create outward works that can stand before My presence and witness on your behalf. Outward works of the flesh won’t be able to stand before My presence regardless of how grand they are before the audience of mankind.

I Am sovereign in My ways beloved. As time drew near to the close of My son Jesus Christs’ earthly ministry, He told His disciples He would not be speaking with them much longer as the ruler of this world was coming. My son followed My instructions and commandments beloved. Jesus could have forfeited His assignment and asserted His power over the world out of season and out of timing, to your detriment.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth never usurped My authority in the earth. Jesus Christ never overrode My right to let men choose good or evil, life or death. The prophet Isaiah encouraged the children of Israel to love good and hate evil. This life can be overwhelming without divine guidance. For a believer in Jesus Christ that guidance is the Holy Spirit. The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Growing in grace does not happen without the help of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of your faith. Be patient with you and humble yourself to filled with, led by and controlled by the Holy Spirit as you do not yet know how thoroughly you will be transformed (over time) into Christ’s image.

Make no mistake beloved, you are living in the last days and the days of Noah. At the appointed time the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light. The sun and moon understand their purpose and run their course daily on the circuit I set thousands of years ago.

Peace in the face of persecution and opposition because of your faith is derived from loving the Lord with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and strength. Loving your neighbor as yourself is a mile marker on your way to maturity in Christ Jesus. Delight yourself in the Lord and the journey of going from glory to glory and faith to faith in Him.
